CPCA welcomes new director Peter Sikora of Emerson at Whistler AGM

At the CPCA Annual General Meeting in Whistler, BC, the board of directors had the opportunity to meet face to face, as well as formally welcome its newest director, Peter Sikora of Emerson.

The Canadian Process Control Association has announced that Peter Sikora, regional sales manager, Western Canada, Emerson Automation Solutions, has been added to the CPCA board of directors. Sikora has been promoting mechanical and automation equipment in the process industry for over 30 years.

He began his career in HVAC as a technician for Ladis & Gyr Powers, then moved into the process market promoting and selling filtration equipment for PECO into the oil and natural gas industry. Sikora’s scope of responsibilities grew to include pumps, valves and instrumentation representing a variety of manufacturers.

Sikora ultimately moved on to his current role at Emerson, promoting fluid control and fluid power equipment. His educational background includes Business Administration, Centennial Collage, and he holds a journeyman Pipe/Steamfitter Certificate. He presently resides in Calgary and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
